The “I Like It” rapper, who is 29, denied rumors on social media that she got into a fight with a fan on July 8 at the Wireless Festival in London’s Finsbury Park, where she was the main act.
“There wasn’t NO FIGHT,” she tweeted.
Cardi can be seen being held up by a security officer and leaning into the crowd as she sings her 2018 song “Bodak Yellow” in video footage from the event that has been posted online.
Then, it appears like someone in the audience has grabbed Cardi’s microphone, causing her to reel back and wrest it away from them.
Cardi brings the microphone back down into the crowd after she has finished the song and appears to be looking into the crowd.
She appears to be trying to hit someone, but it’s not clear if she’s also trying to escape the big crowd of concertgoers who are reaching out to grab her.
Don’t believe everything you see, the artist added in another tweet that appeared to be in reference to the incident.
Cardi’s tweet also contained a clip of Miley Cyrus addressing the fans at a previous concert, saying, “I promise, your favorite b-tch was attempted to be killed by these motherf—kers! They made an attempt to kill me! I’m not giving up easily, motherf—king!”

The crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to Kulture Kiari Cephus, the daughter of Cardi and Offset, during the performance she gave the following day at the festival in Birmingham, United Kingdom. On July 10, their young girl turned four.
Cardi, who also has a 10-month-old son named Wave Set Cephus with Offset, captioned another image, “I will be posting on twitter later or maybe here at BIRMINGHAM WIRELESS MADNESS…..But this post is for my baby girl.” BIG 4 for tomorrow
