Jada Pinkett-smith Makes A Post On Social Media About Healing Following The Oscars Incident

Following the Oscars incident, Jada Pinkett-Smith makes a social media post on healing

Will Smith came up to the Oscars stage two days ago and introduced his hand to Chris Rock’s face in support of his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith. Jada has remained mum about the incident in public, but she made her first social media post about it on Tuesday.

Jada posted a message on her Instagram account on Tuesday that simply stated, “This is a season for healing, and I’m here for it.”

The post was missing a caption that would have expanded on the message. Many followers, on the other hand, saw the message as a sign that she was ready to heal and move on from the incident.

If you haven’t heard, Will Smith struck Chris Rock during the Oscars live telecast on Sunday after he made a J.I. Jane joke about Jada’s haircut.

Will and Jada’s faces were captured on camera following the prank, and she didn’t seem amused. After returning to his seat, Will urged Chris to keep Jada’s name out of his mouth.

In the past, Jada has been honest with her followers about her struggles with alopecia.

As previously reported, Jada uploaded a video on social media in December in which she discussed her battle with alopecia.

Mama’s going to have to pull it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she has brain surgery or anything,” she stated at the time, pointing to a line that had grown on her scalp. “I’m going to be friends with this alopecia for the rest of my life!”

It was late on Monday when Will made a formal apology to Chris Rock and everyone else who was hurt by what he did. Will also made a formal apology to the Academy, the show’s producers, its guests, and the whole world.
