Guillermo del Toro, Jordan Peele win top Directors Guild Awards

The Administrators Guild of America offered Guillermo del Toro with its Excellent Directorial Achievement in Characteristic Movie Award for his romantic fantasy The Form of Water at a ceremony in Beverly Hills Saturday night time.

Jordan Peele earned the accolade for Excellent Directorial Achievement in First-Time Characteristic Movie for Get Out.

The prize for Excellent Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Collection went to Reed Morano for The Handmaid’s Story and the Excellent Directorial Achievement in Comedy Collection honor went to Beth McCarthy-Miller for Veep.

Jean-Marc Vallee gained the medallion for Excellent Directorial Achievement in Films for Tv and Mini-Collection for Massive Little Lies.

Filmmaker Judd Apatow hosted the gala at The Beverly Hilton Lodge. Among the many presenters had been Pamela Adlon, Kevin Bacon, Damien Chazelle, Betty Gabriel, Sally Hawkins, Marcus Henderson, Allison Janney, Richard Jenkins, Catherine Keener, Christine Lahti, Don Mischer, Kimberly Peirce, Chelsea Peretti, Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, Jay D.
