Hillary Clinton and other Democrats are being sued by Donald Trump for a multibillion-dollar amount, saying that they tried to link his presidential campaign to Russia, and he wants them to pay him.
“Run my money!” says the narrator. According to @cnn, in his multimillion-dollar lawsuit against # HillaryClinton, the Democratic National Committee, and 26 other people, # DonaldTrump appears to be thinking along these lines.
In a federal lawsuit filed last week in a Florida court, Trump says that the parties involved attempted to fraudulently link him to Russia during his 2016 campaign.
According to the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Florida, “The Defendants nefariously endeavored to manipulate the public’s trust under the pretext of “opposition research,” “data analytics,” and other political stratagems,” according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit says that “they worked together with a single, self-serving goal: to make Donald J. Trump look bad.”
The sum will be established at trial, according to Reuters, but it is expected to be in excess of $24,000,000.
