In her UFC debut, Karine Silva defeated Poliana Botelho with a buzzer-beating first-round submission

Karine Silva won her first UFC fight by submitting Poliana Botelho in the final seconds of round one at UFC Vegas 56.

Karine Silva made a strong first impression in the UFC by submitting Poliana Botelho with five seconds left in the first round at UFC Vegas 56.

Both females began the battle with powerful kicks, with Botelho appearing to have the upper hand as she added in punches.

Karine Silva wins her UFC debut over Poliana Botelho with the second D’Arce choke in UFC women’s history at UFC Vegas 56.

Silva, on the other hand, caught Botelho with a late right-hand clip and knocked her out. Silva then finished the fight with a D’arce choke to win by submission.

Silva’s victory via D’Arce choke is only the second in UFC women’s history. In May 2018, Tatiana Suarez defeated Alexa Grasso for the first time.
