Lyla, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s 22-month-old daughter, may not be a galactic guardian, but she is already protective of her new baby sister Eloise.
The actor, who also has a 9-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris, told E! News exclusively at a press event for his new series The Terminal List. I’m the “Girl Dad 2.0.” My eldest daughter is settling in nicely as a big sister.
He did say, however, that it took Lyla a while to warm up to the new family member. “‘So, what’s the deal with that thing?’ she wondered at first. Chris and Katherine welcomed their first child, Eloise, in May. In fact, the couple has recently celebrated a number of milestones, including Chris’ 43rd birthday on June 21 and their three-year wedding anniversary on June 8.
In an Instagram anniversary tribute, Chris praised his “strong, gorgeous, smart, lovely, organized, tough, kind, compassionate wife” in an Instagram tribute.
“I’m a fortunate man,” he wrote. “God is wonderful.” The kids and I are overjoyed to have you. You do so much to make our lives better. Thank you very much. I adore you. We adore you! “
Katherine, of course, gushed about her husband. “I love you more every day and consider myself so fortunate to share my life with you,” the author wrote in her own message.
