GRAND CHUTE, Wis. – Inexperienced Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews says he wants surgical procedure on his nostril after getting hit within the face with a line drive throughout a charity softball sport.

Matthews was pitching throughout Saturday’s sport when offensive lineman Lucas Patrick hit the ball immediately into Matthews’ face, knocking him to the bottom. The Inexperienced Bay Press Gazette reviews that Matthews obtained up, lined his face along with his glove, then walked to the dugout. He didn’t return to the sport.

Matthews tweeted later that he busted his nostril and would have surgical procedure after the swelling subsides. He thanked followers for his or her well-wishes and expressed gratitude that his damage wasn’t extra severe.

The Packers are in the midst of their organized crew actions. Matthews hasn’t participated in OTAs due to a knee damage.
