PFL 4: Watch Jeremy Stephens’ tumultuous weigh-in

PFL 4 takes place on June 17 at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, GA, and kicks off the second half of the 2022 PFL regular season.

Before the lightweights and light heavyweights fight inside the PFL cage, they must first compete on the scales as they weigh in for the event.

Clay Collard will face Alex Martinez in the main event of PFL 4 in a bout between two fighters who are currently in the lightweight playoff picture heading into the event.

Collard comes in with three points after a unanimous decision victory over Jeremy Stephens in a high-octane match at PFL 1. Collard lost to Raush Manfio in the 2021 semifinals after winning two decision victories last season, including one over Anthony Pettis.

Martinez, meanwhile, defeated Stevie Ray in a three-point unanimous decision victory at PFL 1. In the 2021 PFL regular season, he went 1-1 with two split decisions—a win over Loik Radzhabov and a defeat to Natan Schulte—before losing to Loik Radzhabov in the PFL semifinals by unanimous decision.

Antonio Carlos Junior, the incumbent PFL light heavyweight champion who is coming off a first-round finish, will face Bruce Souto in the featured light heavyweight bout.

With only minutes left, Stephens walked on the scale, his head and face newly shaved, and stepped on and off the scale many times. His feet were not completely on the scale each time, but the Atlanta commission didn’t seem to notice and weighed him at 156 pounds.

Here’s where you can watch the entire weigh-in.
