In a long video that was uploaded to Instagram last month, the King Richard star apologized to Rock. The Philadelphian asserted that he had spoken to Rock following the Oscars ceremony but that Rock had declined to discuss it.
“The word that got back is that he’s not ready to communicate,” Smith stated in the video. When he is, he will also extend his hand. So, Chris, I’d like to apologize. I’m ready to talk to you whenever you’re ready, and I apologize for my unacceptable actions.
