He made it much more difficult for his detractors by capturing his first NBA Finals MVP and fourth title with the Warriors on Thursday.
His performance against the Celtics in the finals was unquestionable. After averaging 31 points per game in the series, he was a clear choice for FMVP. He scored 34 points in Game 6.
