The BET Awards 2022 are now in full swing!
The star-studded awards show, which will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson, will be telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on July 26. Lil Wayne, Lizzo, Giveon, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, and other artists will give outstanding performances.
Daniel Kaluuya, Idris Elba, Janelle Monáe, Keke Palmer, Ne-Yo, and Tamar Braxton will be among the famous people who will present each of the award categories. These awards honor the best and brightest in film, music, TV, and sports.
With six nominations prior to the awards ceremony, Doja Cat had the most nominations of the evening. Drake and Ari Lennox, who both garnered four nominations, are closely behind the “Kiss Me More” singer.
The only two actors nominated on the night for numerous parts in each of their respective categories are Zendaya and Forest Whitaker.
For their portrayal of Rue Bennet in the popular HBO series Euphoria, Zendaya and Michelle Jones-Watson are vying for the Best Actress award.
Whitaker is nominated for Best Actor for his work in the 2021 Aretha Franklin biopic Respect and Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Read More
