Washington:  An American faculty trainer has been charged after allegedly feeding a sick pet to a snapping turtle in entrance of his college students. Robert Crosland, who teaches in Preston, Idaho, was charged on Saturday with animal cruelty, the BBC reported.After the incident in March, the turtle was “humanely euthanised” because it was thought of an invasive species.Crosland might be jailed for as much as six months and fined as much as $5,000 if convicted.The incident sparked rival petitions for and towards Crosland, who has taught at Preston Junior Excessive Faculty for various years.
