Wendy Williams How are you doing now that your talk show is over?
According to Extra, the radio host-turned-TV personality, who was absent from her series finale on June 17 and the most recent 13th season of her show, is working on a new media project.
In a teaser video, host Billy Bush was seen on the phone with Williams, telling the audience that she was “going off into the realm of podcasts, with iTunes.”
E! News has reached out to Williams and Apple, the company that owns iTunes and Apple Podcasts, for comment but has not received a response.
According to various sources, William had had podcast proposals, according to The Sun in May. Williams’ representative informed E! News at the time that the TV star was “working on projects,” but didn’t elaborate.
Williams has been gone from The Wendy Williams Show since July 20, 2021, and has been on medical leave since September of that year. Sherri Shepherd, who had been filling in for her the whole 13th season, hosted the last show.
“Thank you so much to all of the devoted Wendy viewers for making this program a success on behalf of all of the guest hosts.” Above all, Wendy Williams, we owe you a debt of gratitude. ” She received a standing ovation during the show for what she stated.
According to Shepherd, Williams earned the title of “If you think about it, Wendy Williams changed daytime talk with her unique take on ‘Hot Topics,’ her one-of-a-kind celebrity interviews, the signature ‘Ask Wendy’ segments, and, of course, her famous, ‘How you doin’?”,” says the Queen of All Media.
Absolutely. And I’d like to say, Miss Wendy, that you are a legend who is adored by so many. There are so many. “
Shepherd will headline her own talk program, Sherri, this autumn, which will take over the Wendy Williams Show’s time slot.
