At Apple’s first product event of the year, the company unveils the new iPhone, iPad Air, Studio Display, and more.

Apple conducted its first product presentation of 2022 on Tuesday at their Cupertino, CA headquarters, introducing new items as well as improvements to old ones.

According to CNBC, Apple debuted a new cheap iPhone, a new iPad Air, and a new 27-inch Studio Display panel among the new products. They also unveiled a new color for the iPhone 13 as well as a new M1 Ultra CPU for the Mac Studio Computer.

When it comes to their new cheap phone, the iPhone SE, the phone, which costs $429, is a replacement for their 2020 model and now features 5G. The phone has a 12-megapixel back camera and a 4.7-inch display screen, as well as a TouchID fingerprint sensor, similar to the previous SE phone. The phone will be available on March 18th.

The new iPad Air will be available on March 18th and will include optional 5G capability as well as Apple’s M1 CPU.

The device’s camera has also been updated to 12-megapixels, including a feature dubbed Center Stage that allows the camera to follow the subject as it moves within the frame while on a video chat. The iPad Air will cost $599 at launch.

Apple also unveiled its new Mac Studio Display on Tuesday, which features a “5K Retina 27-inch screen, speakers, and a built-in camera.” The display can also “fast-charge Apple’s latest MacBook Pros when it’s plugged in,” according to CNBC. Pre-orders for the display, which costs $1,599, are now open.

Apple also unveiled its new Mac Studio, which features the company’s latest M1 Ultra CPU. An aluminum box with USB-C connectors and an SD card slot on the front houses the display-less desktop computer. Apple claims that the new M1 Ultra chips are more powerful than the M1 chip.

The tech business also announced that orders for the iPhone 13 in green and the iPhone 13 in alpine green will begin on Friday.
