Bachelorettes’ reactions to the arrival of the Season 19 contestants from Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia

We anticipated some surprises on the July 11 premiere episode of The Bachelorette after host Jesse Palmer hinted that season 19 featured some incredibly bizarre limo entrances.

This was especially true considering that there were more contestants than ever before competing for Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia’s attention.

We weren’t quite prepared, however, for Logan, who was carrying two baby chicks named Mary Beth and Alejandra, or James, a self-described “meatball enthusiast,” who came out of the limo with the largest meatball sandwich ever made (we have a lot of questions about how the sandwich fit in the limo, but those will have to wait). For each bachelorette, there are two girls. Get it?

Of course, The Bachelorette wouldn’t be The Bachelorette without a few rebels who choose to skip the limo entirely!

On a forklift, Tino, the general contractor, entered the mansion. He may have been a little too obvious, but it seemed to have worked because he won Rachel’s favor. Not to be outdone, mortgage salesman Jacob arrived on horseback, shirtless and dressed like a character from a romance novel.

But the Bachelorettes themselves thought it was a good effort, even though some of the entrances were pretty cheeseball.

Gabby exclusively told E! News, “I feel like the effort really showed volumes about these guys and how much they were eager to attempt to impress us.”

According to Rachel, who spoke exclusively to E! News, “anyone who really went out of their way to be really personal to Gabby and I” impressed her.

Regarding Jacob’s bare chest,

When we hugged, Rachel remarked, “We were really shiny.” “After that, I was almost like a highlighter.”
