Chrissy Teigen needed a little more food than they provided at the 2022 Emmy Awards
The author of a cookbook published a picture of her husband, John Legend, 43, on Monday night when he was opening a tiny box of chocolate-covered pretzels, almonds, chips, and dried apricots while seated at the dinner table with his hands on his lap.
Oh, I guess I’ll need more than this, hehe. The 36-year-old model gave the picture a caption in her tweet. During the In Memoriam portion of the award ceremony, Legend performed his song “Pieces” as Teigen sported a pink sequined outfit to highlight her expanding baby bump.
The artist beamingly hugged his pregnant wife in his arms. The couple announced they were having a rainbow baby in August, nearly two years after the model’s miscarriage. The family decided to give him the name Jack in memory of their late son.

Teigen admitted in her first image of the baby bulge that she found it difficult to keep the information to herself because of the strain of her pregnancy.
“Every checkup I’ve said to myself, fine if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce, but then I breathe a big breath of relief to hear a heartbeat and realize I’m simply too anxious yet,” she wrote with a mirror image of herself wearing sheer Gucci underwear.
I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more enthusiasm than nerves, she continued as she gushed about how happy her house and heart were. Following the loss of their third child, Teigen underwent IVF and admitted to her fans that pregnancy bloat was a tremendous bummer.
I politely beg you to stop asking whether I’m pregnant because, while I know it’s spoken with joyous, good intentions, it really kind of stinks to hear given I am the opposite of pregnant,” she replied. Since then, she has made jokes about what name she and Legend would give the child.
