Draymond Green’s mother has a funny reaction to his Game 4 performance

Draymond Green’s performance in the NBA Finals has gotten a lot of flak. Even his mother is baffled as to what has happened to him.

In 16 games, the Golden State Warriors advanced to the NBA Finals through the difficult Western Conference. Draymond Green helped them reach the NBA Finals for the sixth time in the last eight years. Green’s play has deteriorated since the NBA Finals began, particularly in Game 3.

Green was benched in the fourth quarter of Game 4 by head coach Steve Kerr. That’s when the skepticism began to resurface. Green’s mother, Mary Babers-Green, took to Twitter to answer the queries about her son, saying she has no idea why he is performing the way he is.

Green’s mother took to Twitter to say that she doesn’t want to be asked the same question about what’s going on with her son because she doesn’t have any answers. The only thing she could think of was to make a joke about her son being replaced by a clone.

According to the Warriors’ head coach during the postgame news conference, Green was not satisfied with Kerr’s decision to bench him in the fourth quarter.

Fortunately for Green, the Warriors were able to come back and win Game 4, 107-97. That’s because the Celtics scored just six points in the final seven minutes of regulation, and Steph Curry had the game of his life, scoring 43 points.

Green just had two points (1-for-7 on field goal attempts) in 33 minutes, but he did have nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.

The Warriors now return home for Game 5, which begins at 9:00 p.m. ET on Monday, June 13. Maybe that’ll be the time when Green breaks out of his funk for Golden State.
