Richard Nurse, who works for AllUCanHeat, makes a strong case for Wade’s influence in the NBA today.

According to Nurse, Wade influenced DeMar DeRozan, is likened to Victor Oladipo, and has been a mentor to Butler, among others.

Wade played alongside Butler in Chicago near the end of his career, and he pushed for the Heat to sign Butler away from the Bulls.

Wade has always been impressed with Butler’s skills and thought he would be a great addition to the Miami Heat. In 2022, Jimmy Butler is proving that he can play well in the playoffs.
