Fendi claims that security helped him steal $400,000 and his jewelry from a Miami hotel

It’s not pleasant to discover that your belongings have gone missing, especially when you’re in the comfort of a hotel. This was most certainly Big Fendi’s recent experience in Miami. The music business veteran told a story of how a South Beach hotel was robbed of $400,000 and his jewels.

Big Fendi is the man who discovered Nicki Minaj back when her raps were on Myspace. For those unfamiliar, Big Fendi is the man who discovered Nicki Minaj back when her raps were on Myspace. Not only that, but he is said to have given Nicki her now-famous stage name.

What went wrong?

Big Fendi posted to his Instagram account late Sunday night, outlining what he believes happened to his property. He began by claiming that his “Prada bag containing over $400K in cash and jewelry was taken from the Mondrian Hotel on South Beach.”

I arrived around 4:45 p.m. and quickly realized my purse was missing from my room, “Big Fendi wrote. To cut a long tale short, the hotel discovered the bag and handed it over to security. Then they called someone who submitted a bogus email to the Mondrian, claiming they had lost a bag, described what was in it, and were sending someone to pick it up. “

Involvement of the hotel

Fendi did not say how long it took the hotel to locate the purse. He also refused to say how he knew security had searched and logged his belongings. Furthermore, it’s unclear how Fendi became aware of security making contact with an outsider and the phony email. Nonetheless, he went on to describe how he felt his belongings got away from him.

In his caption, Big Fendi stated, “The hotel released my suitcase without asking for ID or anything.” “Differently, this was an inside job!!!!” The individual that arrived to pick up my bag is shown below. Dm me if you know who this is. He has arrived in Miami! “

Big Fendi also tweeted roughly eight photographs that appear to be security footage screenshots, in addition to the story in his description. A black man with two-toned locs and a brownish head wrap is shown in the shot. His face is completely exposed, and he wears a t-shirt and pants. Near the unnamed man is a black bag, but it’s unclear if it’s Big Fendi’s Prada bag.

At this point, the Mondrian Hotel has not responded to the situation. This is a work in progress.
