In the WeCrashed episode preview, Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway give new meaning to couple goals

The April 15th episode of WeCrashed, featuring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway as Adam and Rebekah Neumann, has been given an exclusive peek by E! News.

A wonderful lady stands behind every great man.

WeCrashed is about Adam Neumann’s company, WeWork, but it’s hard not to notice Rebekah Neumann’s positive influence on the entrepreneur, at least in Apple TV+’s depiction of the real event.

Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway, who oversaw the firm until stepping down in 2019, bring a fierce passion to the couple in the exclusive April 15 sneak peek above.

Before becoming overcome with emotion, they spit out the attributes they’d use to describe their empire and bang a gong. “I am nothing without you,” Adam confesses, staring at a teary-eyed Rebekah.

According to showrunners Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, the focus on the enigmatic duo was intentional. “What sets [WeCrashed] apart from other films in this genre is that we experience the story through the eyes of this couple,” Eisenberg previously stated to Entertainment Weekly.

“In the business story, we witness this cult of personality, and then we return home with them at night.”

Crevello continued, “We were even more enthralled by Rebekah than we were by Adam, which says a lot. The character is so complicated that it took an actor with unrivaled talent to express all of the nuances. ” Anne, of course, has that degree of experience, having won an Academy Award and a slew of other accolades.

Even though it features outstanding talent, the Neumanns themselves aren’t watching the Apple TV+ series. At the New York Times Dealbook Online Summit, Adam described the show as a “single-sided story that I am telling you is not actually true in a lot of areas,” according to Deadline.

On E! News, Jared has more positive things to say about the show, calling it a “current and relevant” subject. “We look at his great achievements as well as his very public failings.”

Season seven of WeCrashed premieres on Apple TV+ on April 15th.
