Butler’s 47 points came from 16-of-29 field goal attempts and 11 free throw attempts. Butler scored 19 points in each of the previous two games of the series. In addition, the star had nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.

According to ESPN, Butler is now only the second player in NBA history to have multiple 40-point, four-steal games in a single playoff series. In the first round of the 1988 playoffs, the legendary Michael Jordan was the other player to do so.

Many thought the Heat were as good as done against the Celtics in Boston on Friday night, so it was a unique way for them to make a statement. In fact, they overheard Golden State’s Draymond Green predicting that they would face Boston in the Finals. “Tell Draymond thank you,” Udonis Haslem told the ESPN commentary team.

Game 7 of the series will be held in Miami. Will the Heat capitalize on Game 6’s momentum? Or will the Celtics finish it off on the road in the NBA Finals against the Warriors?
