Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, rips Cam Newton for his misogynistic remarks
Cam Newton’s fiancee, Kayla Nicole, told the Kansas City Chiefs tight end not to say things like that about women.
Cam Newton is a free agent quarterback, but he made headlines earlier this week for some controversial statements he made during an appearance on Barstool Sports’ “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. In his interview, Newton bemoaned women who “can’t cook” and “don’t know when to be silent.”
On Tuesday, Kayla Nicole, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, turned to social media to reply to Newton’s statements on the show.

All of the tweets were sent out on April 12th. Nicole followed up with another tweet the next day, claiming that she had “no beef with anyone,” but taking issue with Newton’s remarks. Nicole’s entire words can be found in the tweet below.
This isn’t the first time Newton has said something provocative. When asked about Devin Funchess’ route-running by then-Charlotte Observer reporter Jourdan Rodrigue in 2017, Newton replied, “It’s weird to hear a female talk about routes.”
Newton later expressed regret for the remark. Because of the remark, the quarterback lost an endorsement arrangement with Dannon Yogurt.
Newton started the 2021 league year as the New England Patriots’ starting quarterback, but was released before the regular season began.
Midway through the season, the quarterback returned to the Carolina Panthers for a second stint. He is currently unemployed.
Another player who hasn’t signed a new deal with the Cardinals has started up trade talks again.
