It’s fight day, and Tyson Fury, the WBC and Ring Magazine heavyweight boxing champion, will defend his crowns against Dillian Whyte, the WBC interim champion and number one contender.

Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) is on a two-fight knockout streak and is defending his WBC title for the second time. In his last two fights, he knocked out Deontay Wilder.

In a rematch with Alexander Povetkin, Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) avenged one of his two losses in his last bout. He has never won a major world title and is looking to dethrone Fury as WBC champion.

This is a one-of-a-kind matchup. At Wembley Stadium in London, England, British combatants Fury and Whyte face off in front of their countrymen. With an anticipated 94,000 fans in attendance, many expect this to break attendance records.

On a recent media call with FanSided, Fury stated that this would be his final fight, but he was non-committal about his post-fight plans. Regardless of Fury’s destiny, the ESPN+ pay-per-view fight between Fury and Whyte has the potential to be a thrilling spectacle.
