Nba Twitter Can’t Get Enough Of Luka Doncic Dropping Sick Dimes, Blowing Out Pistons

On Wednesday night, Luka Doncic put on a show for the Mavericks against the Pistons, dazzling NBA Twitter with his no-look passes.

The Mavericks blew away the Pistons in Detroit on Wednesday, putting further pressure on the Warriors for third place in the Western Conference.

The game’s postseason ramifications were important, but NBA Twitter had a lot more to say about Dallas’s Luka Doncic’s performance.

Doncic has made it a habit to dish out double-digit assists this season, with 14 on Wednesday, bringing his season total to 27 games with 10 or more assists.

The nature of a number of those assists sparked a conversation on Twitter.

In the Mavericks-Pistons game, Luka Doncic stunned NBA Twitter.

Doncic made spectators do double takes with passes that seemed more like optical illusions than anything else while putting up 26 points, 14 assists, and eight rebounds.

People were attempting to make sense of the backward-no-look toss, among other things, on Twitter.

For the first time in Doncic’s career, the Mavericks beat the Pistons 131-113 to reach 50 victories for the season. They’re half a game behind the Warriors and almost certain to get a No. 4 or better seed in the playoffs.

In his fourth season in the league, Doncic is averaging 28.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 8.7 assists, and 1.2 steals.

In the regular season, he’s shown he can entertain large crowds. The next major challenge will be to progress past the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Dallas will play the Trailblazers and Spurs at home on Friday and Sunday to finish the season.
