Ndamukong Suh’s latest tweet should make Raiders fans happy, albeit cautiously

Ndamukong Suh won’t be going back to the Buccaneers, and it looks like he’s seriously thinking about moving to the Raiders.

Ndamukong Suh, 35, isn’t ready to hang up his cleats just yet. He’s also all but ruled out returning to the Buccaneers in 2022.

So, where is he going to land next?

His preferred destination appears to be Las Vegas.

Ndamakong Suh stated that playing for the Raiders “might be fun”

Suh responded to Adam Schefter’s tweet about the defensive lineman possibly leaving the Buccaneers on Tuesday by saying, “Raiders could be fun.”

It’s debatable whether Vegas and Suh are mutually interested in each other. According to Tyler Dragon of USA Today, the “Raiders and Vikings have both had multiple conversations with the free-agent DT.”

However, a few days later, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Josina Anderson of CBS Sports told a different story.

According to Anderson, “the Raiders are not currently in pursuit.”

In a tweet, Bonsignore said, “Right now, [Suh’s] interest does not appear to be mutual.”

So, which one is it? Bonsignore is well connected with the Raiders, and Anderson has reliable sources. The weight of their reporting outweighs Dragon’s.

Of course, both connected their understanding to the present. Things move quickly in the NFL, and Suh’s public profile could certainly spark some discussion.

Suh is coming off a season in which he had six sacks and 13 QB hits. While he hasn’t been the All-Pro player he was in the first half of his career, he has been consistently productive in recent years.

If the Raiders can afford him, he could have a significant impact in the trenches. However, he will face stiff competition for his services. Don’t expect Las Vegas to win if they aren’t invested in the pursuit.
