The SNL actor made a surprise appearance at the 2022 Emmys to accept the trophy for Best Comedy Series, donning a low-key outfit with connections to his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s past.
By donning a grey Dickies Eisenhower jacket ($60), grey trousers ($40), and white sunglasses ($10), Davidson, 28, copied the appearance of West, 45.

In order to draw attention away from the Skims inventor, whose wet-looking Thierry Mugler dress and waist-whittling corset were the subjects of the evening, the rapper wore a black version of the same jacket to the 2019 Met Gala, which had a Camp theme.
During a notable fight about the attire on a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, West allegedly said to her, “You are my wife, and it disturbs me when images are too sexual.
” You helped me become this attractive, self-assured person, so just because you’re going through a personal transformation doesn’t mean I am, Kardashian shot back.
Even after they broke up, she continued to dress provocatively: in 2022, at the Met Gala, Kim stole the show by donning Marilyn Monroe’s Happy Birthday, Mr. President attire while Davidson stood by her side.
It’s possible that Davidson’s Emmys attire was also a nod to their shared past. For the Met Gala, Kardashian had her hair bleached platinum blond, and Davidson followed suit by getting his hair dyed the same shade of blonde.
When he and his ex-girlfriend broke up last month, he colored his hair back to brown, but the King of Staten Island showed up to the awards ceremony sporting a bleached ‘do. Is this a sign that they’ve reconciled once more? Alternately, it’s possible that Davidson is attempting to get his ex-girlfriend back by dressing well.
