The Dolphins are hoping to get a late-free-agent steal to bolster their defensive line

In what has already been a spectacular few months for the Miami Dolphins, it appears that they aren’t done making moves this offseason.

The Miami Dolphins are now surrounded by a lot of excitement, and their supporters are loving it. Not only did the team choose Mike McDaniel as its new head coach, but it also made waves when it acquired speedster Tyreek Hill.

The front office is still working around the clock, and Melvin Ingram, a great pass-rusher, could be on the way. According to Ian Rapoport, Ingram will be in Miami on Wednesday.

The Dolphins’ signing of Melvin Ingram will be interesting to watch

Following a long career with the Chargers, Ingram began the season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, signing a one-year agreement with the team. Ingram’s time in Pittsburgh didn’t go as planned, and he was traded to Kansas City in the middle of the season.

When Ingram joined the Chiefs, he drew a lot of attention, and he continued to do so late in the season. With Pittsburgh and Kansas City, Ingram had two sacks and 25 total tackles on the season. Now he’s looking for a new place to call home, and Miami could be a good fit.

Miami is having a great time right now, and things are looking up for them. The addition of a player of Hill’s level has the fanbase ecstatic. He’ll play an important role in Tua Tagovailoa’s development as the team’s quarterback of the future.

Adding Ingram wouldn’t generate the same kind of excitement as Hill, but it wouldn’t be a bad thing either. Without a doubt, the front office is primed to continue making waves in the AFC East.
