The Revenge Porn Lawsuit Against Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna Has Been Settled

Kardashian was scheduled to appear in front of Judge Gregory Alarcon at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles when the news broke. Jury selection is scheduled for Monday, followed by a three-to five-day trial.

In July 2017, Chyna filed a lawsuit against Kardashian, who is the father of their baby, Dream Kardashian.

Kardashian had previously shared sexually explicit photographs of Chyna on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, prompting her to seek a temporary restraining order.

The allegations were supposed to be part of Chyna’s defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family, but during a 2020 hearing, a judge separated the two claims.

Kardashian’s lawyers claimed in a motion obtained by E! News last month that he and Chyna had already reached an out-of-court settlement. The move to dismiss the case, however, was denied by the court.

Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, said in part to E! News in response to the judge’s order, “Rob Kardashian has never apologized for his horrible and vindictive conduct of uploading revenge pornography against Chyna in July 2017. He was never charged with a crime. “Rob must now face the consequences of his actions in a court of law.”

A jury decided more than a month ago that Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner did not hurt Chyna’s career in an unfair way.

Kardashian’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes, told reporters after the jury’s ruling, “I believe the case was extremely straightforward.” The jury figured it out. “

The defamation case will be appealed, according to Chyna’s lawyer.
