Tom Brady Announces That He Will Be Returning To The Nfl For His 23rd Season

Just when you thought Tom Brady was going to put up his cleats for good, he declared that he’ll return to the NFL for another season.

“These past two months I have realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” Tom wrote on Instagram on Sunday. That moment will arrive. But that isn’t the case right now.

I adore my teammates, as well as my loving family. None of this would be possible without them. I’m returning to Tampa for my 23rd season. “We have unfinished business,” says the narrator.

The Buccaneers’ general manager, Jason Licht, issued the following statement:

Tom announced his retirement in February, saying, “As I think back on my career in football, the memories we’ve made, and the connections we’ve built are by far the most meaningful.”

Yes, the scoreboard was significant, but it was always the most difficult times that taught me the most valuable lessons. I’m thankful for the people who have been by me through every high and low, win and loss, and the memories we’ve made TOGETHER. Memories that will last a lifetime.”

“I played for the name on the front of my jersey as well as the name on the back.” I played for my friends, family, and community — each and every one of you – who have helped me get where I am today.

I adore all of you. “I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for making this fantastic journey possible,” he said.

Now it appears that Tom will carry on his father’s tradition on the football field.
