Tristan Thompson is reportedly being sued by Maralee Nichols for more than $1 million in legal fees and $47K in monthly child support payments.

Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols haven’t gotten along since she discovered she was pregnant with his child.

Now that baby Theo has arrived and a court-ordered paternity test has proved Tristan’s fatherhood, Maralee is taking the appropriate procedures to safeguard her infant boy’s well-being.

Maralee requested for monetary support from Tristan, according to legal docs obtained by Us Weekly, which includes more than $1 million in legal fees!

“With regard to child support, Maralee at this time asks guideline monthly child support of $47,424 based on Tristan’s income of $9.7 million alone and Maralee’s income of $0,” the filings indicate.

Nichols also sought that a judge order Thompson to pay her attorney fees, which are said to be in the millions of dollars. Thompson’s monthly income is estimated to be over $810,075, according to the records, while Nichols claims that her monthly costs are more than $22,000.

“Theo and I have a much lower level of life than Tristan,” according to the records.

Nichols went on to say that she is currently sharing an apartment with a roommate and that Tristan has not provided her with any financial support for their son.

Maralee Nichols and Tristan Thompson’s road to fatherhood has been bumpy, as we have reported. Tristan originally denied sleeping with Maralee on several occasions before publicly apologizing to Khloe Kardashian after it was revealed that he fathered a child with her.

In January, he wrote Khloe a note on Instagram.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that Maralee Nichols and I fathered a child,” he wrote. “I am fully accountable for my conduct.”

I’m looking forward to parenting our youngster together now that paternity has been proven. You don’t deserve this, Khloe. You don’t deserve the pain and disgrace I’ve inflicted on you. You don’t deserve to be treated the way I have throughout the years.”

“My behaviors certainly do not reflect how I feel about you,” Tristan continued. “I hold you in the highest regard and love. Whatever your opinion may be. Please accept my heartfelt apologies once more.”
