Brentford Shocks Chelsea: Best Memes And Tweets Trolling Blues

Brentford beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in one of the most surprising results of the season, even though they were behind at halftime.

Brentford scored four goals in a row in the second half to inflict the Blues’ only home loss of the season. The result shocked the Premier League to its core.

Brentford won thanks to goals from Vitaly Janelt, Christian Eriksen, and Yoane Wissa, while Chelsea suffered an awful defeat.

The Table of the Premier League

Due to Chelsea’s loss against Brentford, the table now reads as follows:

  1. Liverpool – 72 points
  2. Manchester City – 70 points
  3. Chelsea – 59 points
  4. Arsenal – 54 points
  5. Tottenham – 51 points
  6. Manchester United – 50 points
  7. West Ham United – 48 points

The Blues have some breathing room, and while a loss to Brentford seems bad on paper, their five-point lead over Arsenal (as things stand) means they have some breathing room if they recover swiftly.

Brentford now have 30 points, keeping them out of relegation danger for the time being.

Brentford fans react to their team’s victory over Chelsea

While Chelsea are still guaranteed a Champions League spot for the time being, the Blues have had a difficult couple of weeks.

Despite crying poor with MLB’s Chicago Cubs during the lockout, the Ricketts family has expressed interest in purchasing the franchise with their Russian owner on the outs. Even before Saturday’s game, fans voiced their dissatisfaction.

EPL fans, on the other hand, focused on the game itself, mocking Chelsea for not being able to beat a team at home that was near the bottom of the league.

Conceding 4 goals at home to Brentford is embarrassing. Only managing to score 1 goal against Brentford at home is embarrassing

Embarrassing all round today.
