Mia Thornton of the Real Housewives of Orange County Reveals Her Health Diagnosis.
We’re keeping “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton in our prayers, roommates. She told her followers on Friday that she was told she needed to travel to Johns Hopkins Cancer Center after obtaining recent test results.
“Same time last week, Doc called at 7:31 am — Mia,” she said on Instagram. Sorry for the inconvenience, but your test results have arrived, and I need you to see Johns Hopkins Cancer Center today.”
“You can only imagine the incredible amount of emotion G and I went through trying to figure out why,” she continued. Despite the dreadful news, I felt a tremendous sense of calm and vitality, which enabled me to remain strong.”
Mia claims that she has been meeting with professionals since then, and that, while the procedure is not yet complete, the experience has already transformed her. “I know God has a purpose, and I know we’re often forced to remember that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, and our days on this planet are limited,” she continued.

In the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Mia was debuted as a prominent cast member. She was brought on as Karen Huger’s buddy and rapidly established her own lane on the show.
