NBA Playoffs: How to Watch Game 1 of the Nets vs. Celtics

In Game 1 of their first-round series, the Brooklyn Nets face the Boston Celtics. Here’s how to watch the game.

This weekend marks the start of the NBA Playoffs. There will be four games on Saturday, April 16, followed by four more on Sunday, April 17. At 3:30 p.m., one of the most anticipated first-round series will begin, as the Brooklyn Nets take on the Boston Celtics.

Brooklyn had the seventh-best record in the Eastern Conference, but they had to compete in a play-in tournament to secure a playoff spot.

The Nets defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-108, thanks to an incredible 34-point performance by Kyrie Irving, to secure the No. 7 seed in the East. As a result, they will now face Irving’s old team, the Boston Celtics.

Boston had a historic second half to the 2021-22 season. The Celtics were 20-21 at the halfway point of the season.

With a 51-31 record at the end of the regular season, the Celtics clinched the No. 2 seed. It will be entertaining to watch Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown go at it with Irving and Kevin Durant, but the Nets will be a difficult opponent.

Here’s how to watch Game 1 of Brooklyn’s first-round series against Boston.
