Travis d’Arnaud of the Braves may never fully recover from the Dee Strange hit. Gordon’s

Travis d’Arnaud, the catcher for the Atlanta Braves, had a humorous reaction to being hit by Dee Strange-Gordon on Tuesday.

The Washington Nationals made headlines early in the season because of how many times they hit various New York Mets players during their four-game series. Travis d’Arnaud of the Atlanta Braves was hit by a fastball from a Nationals pitcher on Tuesday.

With a runner on first and second and a 14-3 advantage, d’Arnaud went up to the plate in the bottom of the eighth inning. Dee Strange-Gordon, a position player for Washington, took the mound for the inning. Strange-52 Gordon’s mph pitch missed the catcher and sent him to the ground.

Travis D’Arnaud may never be the same after being smacked by Dee Strange-Gordon.

d’Arnaud sold it as if he was hoping to be nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards next year. Theatrics made the commentary booth and the dugouts of both the Braves and the Nationals giggle.

Avenging an 11-2 loss on Monday night, the Braves trounced the Nationals 16-4 on Tuesday. d’Arnaud was 3-for-5 at the plate and scored three runs in the game.
