There’s a good chance that Armando Bacot is very happy for his team. The North Carolina Tar Heels are now a part of the Elite Eight.
The North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the UCLA Bruins in the Sweet 16 on Friday evening. The victory was significant for a variety of reasons, and it moves the Tar Heels closer to contending for a title this season.
Of course, the Tar Heels are ecstatic about their victory, as they should be! This is a significant achievement that deserves to be recognized. That includes athletes like North Carolina’s Armando Bacot, who expressed his delight on Twitter.

North Carolina’s Armando Bacot will face Saint Peter’s Peacocks in the Elite Eight
The North Carolina Tar Heels will now face the Saint Peter’s Peacocks in the Elite Eight. Given Saint Peter’s’ performance throughout the NCAA Tournament, no North Carolina fans should consider this a certain conclusion.
However, if the Tar Heels can get strong performances from players like Bacot and Caleb Love, they may have a chance to progress to the Final Four. Perhaps the Peacocks’ Cinderella story will continue.
On Sunday, March 27, at 5:05 p.m. ET, North Carolina and Saint Peter’s will face off in Pennsylvania. The game will be televised by CBS.
