In This RuPaul’s Drag Race Sneak Peek, Jinkx Monsoon and The Vivienne Feud Come to a Head
In this exclusive sneak peek of the June 24 episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7, the simmering feud between Jinkx Monsoon and The Vivienne heats up even more.
After Vivienne blocked Jinkx in the June 17 episode, she saunters back into the werk room holding the golden plunger and admits, “I feel a little irritated.”
Vivienne, who had been blocked by Jinkx the week before and thus was unable to earn a star for winning the challenge, says she understands how you feel.
“If you’re irritated, that’s because I could have sat here with another star this week and you blocked it,” she tells Jinkx. “It feels terrible.”
Even in the work room, Misery enjoys company.
“I mean, I won one challenge even though I was blocked,” Jinkx says. “That happened to Trinity [the Tuck] and to me. So we know it’s bad. I get it. “
The episode featured Jinkx and The Vivienne collaborating on a team, which Jinkx thought would save her from the block—but The Vivienne claims she didn’t even consider that.
“We worked really well together,” she says. “That will never be taken away by a plunger.” It will cost us a victory next week. This is it, folks. Friendships have no bearing on this. “
Jinkx, never one to wallow, insists she’ll use the blocking as proof that she’s excelling in the competition—but she also warns The Vivienne to keep an eye on her.
“Well, I’ve been blocked before, and this is how I see it,” she says. “I’m the first queen to win three challenges in this tournament.”
I’m the first queen to be awarded two stars. And I’m the first queen to be blocked twice in a row. I’m feeling pretty good about myself right now. But it’ll be difficult not to block [The Vivienne] the next chance I get. “
The maxi challenge in the June 24 episode, according to RuPaul, asks the queens to “create a signature, legendary legend look inspired by one of my classic looks.”
The girls will also need to bring their A-games because iconic designer Betsey Johnson will be joining the panel as a guest judge.
