Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli Make Instagram Official, Confirming “Secret” Romance
After months of rumors, Blake Horstmann of Bachelor Nation and Giannina Gibelli of Love Is Blind have now confirmed that they are dating.
On June 29, Blake posted the word “happy” along with several images of him and Giannina holding hands. Just so dang joyful.
To which Giannina replied, “We are very adept at maintaining secrecy.” I’m overjoyed, my love.”
Giannina put more cute pictures of her relationship on her personal Instagram account and called it “my worst kept secret.”
The reality stars urged followers to watch their new Paramount+ series, All Star Shore, to learn how their love got its start in both postings.
Giannina, who is 29, says she met Blake, who is 33, on the set of the reality show about a party competition. They started dating and made it official on Instagram.
On June 4, at iHeartRadio’s KIISFM Wango Tango event in Carson, California, she told E! News, “I’ve never followed the Bachelor franchise or any of that, so I didn’t know who he was.” I first encountered him on the beach, when he appeared to be acquainted with me and smiled broadly at me.
They haven’t yet openly acknowledged their relationship, though.
While some viewers’ perceptions of Blake may have been shaped by his time spent in Bachelor Nation, Giannini thinks he’s simply the “sweetest” person.
She told E News, “He’s really respectful, but I don’t think they realize exactly how humorous and spontaneous and passionate he is.”
“Watching him achieve all these new heights and goals while working as a DJ, I don’t think many people realize he has it in him, but he absolutely does,” the author said.
Fans may recall that on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette in 2018, Blake made it to the final two. Later, in 2019, he was on the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise, but he didn’t end up getting married there.
In the 2020 television series Love Is Blind, Giannina gets engaged to Damian Powers. But he didn’t say “I do” on the day of their nuptials.
Fans followed Damian and Giannina’s journey on the Love Is Blind reunion special in 2021 as they continued to try to make their love work. In August 2021, Giannina declared herself to be “officially single,” but this was after the Alter.
When New Year’s Eve rolled around in January 2022, she and Blake shared a number of social media updates from what appeared to be the same place. Then, a source told E! News that they were indeed dating.
The two were taken out on other dates in the months that followed, including supper at West Hollywood hotspot Craig’s, where they were pictured holding hands on June 6. They were seen attending Stagecoach 2022 together.
According to another person close to Blake, “Blake believes she is a really pleasant and down-to-earth lady,” E! News was informed earlier this year.
They have a lot in common because they both work in the reality TV industry and have become friends because of their shared experiences.
