Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are asking $18 million for their Los Angeles mansion, which has an enormous pool and a movie theater

The Hancock Park, Los Angeles, mansion that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have renovated from the 1920s is available for purchase for a cool $18 million.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ozzy, 73, and the former co-host of The Talk, 69, have owned the 11,500-square-foot estate since 2015, when they paid Oren Koules, the creator of the movie Saw, $11.85 million for it.

As can be seen in the photo below, the famous couple updated the home while preserving its early 20th-century elegance, including its arched wooden door.

The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom house, which also has a crimson movie theater, has a front terrace and lush green lawn to welcome guests.

One of the three arched windows is on the left of the wooden door’s arch; the other two are on the right. The large house has a distinctive Southern California appeal thanks to a Spanish-style roof.

A black and white tiled patio connects to further lawn at the back of the house. A big, rectangular pool is a great place to cool off from the heat of Los Angeles, and a hot tub next to it keeps you warm on cold nights.

The Black Sabbath frontman’s residence has a spacious, light interior. The white stone fireplace in a light gray living room is given a touch of elegance by a crystal chandelier that unifies the space.

The room has two curving windows, which let in a lot of natural light, and two mirrors, one on either side of the fireplace, which gives the room a bigger-than-it-is appearance.

White cabinets that reach the ceiling provide a lot of storage space in the kitchen, which is also white. A quirky curved breakfast bar takes up much of the room’s floor space, while the kitchen’s cooking area occupies the entire opposite wall.

Ozzy made a suggestion that he was prepared to return to England in March, but neither Sharon nor Ozzy had responded to the listing for their house. “We’re heading out of LA. We’re a little down. But the tax is becoming excessive.

I actually truly like living and staying there, so I’m unhappy, “Ozzy admitted to the Mirror. He also went over some of the details of the upcoming move.

I’m bringing my recording studio. At Welders, I’ll create my own studio and erect a barn there. My band will visit, and I’ll continue to do songs, “he said.

If the house sells for the asking amount, it will be one of the most expensive sales to ever take place in the Wilshire area.

In January, the Los Angeles Times said that TV producer Shonda Rhimes had sold her home for $21 million, which was the highest price ever paid in the neighborhood. Read More
