Camila Mendes of Riverdale confirms her relationship status in a relatable TikTok video

An Exclusive Sneak Peek of Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes in Riverdale

You need to know your lines if you want to be Camila Mendes’ significant other.

The Riverdale star revealed she was single in a TikTok post from June 27 where she lip-synced to a relatable and humorous audio clip.

Camila lip-synces “I am” in response to an off-camera voice asking if she is single at the beginning of the video.

Why? One might inquire. Camila then performs a lip sync, “My Venus is in Pisces, which I believe to be my problem.” I overromanticize things, so when I meet someone new, I’ll draw out a plan for how our relationship would proceed. However, when we really get together, they don’t stick to the plan, and I don’t really like improv, so I lose interest. “

She titled the video “Venus in Leo,” further tailoring the TikTok to herself.

Naturally, supporters let the 28-year-old know that they completely understand by posting in the comment area. “This logic makes sense to me,” one person said.

Why is this so relatable? another user asked in response.

It makes sense that Camila would want her boyfriend to be able to stick to the plot at this point. She has, after all, already discovered romance while reading a script—a Riverdale script, specifically.

Just in case you forgot, Charles Melton, Camila’s co-star on Riverdale, and I once had a relationship. In 2018, they initially fueled romance speculation. The couple paused their romance in 2019 after celebrating their first anniversary together. Camila and Charles saw each other again in June 2021, but even though they felt the same way, they ended up breaking up.

She wasn’t the only person to develop a romance in that group, though.

The popular CW series’ co-stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse started dating over four years ago. The two had broken up a few times during their relationship, but they frequently found their way back together. Cole did, however, disclose that they had broken up in August 2020.

In an Instagram post, he said, “Lili and I split up for the first time in January of this year, and we decided to divorce for good in March.”

Although these relationships are no longer going strong, Camila and Lili still have a great sense of humor. They filmed separate TikTok videos in March to make light of the fact that they had both dated Riverdale co-stars.

In the post, Camila and Lili’s perplexed expressions were accompanied by the caption, “us attempting to figure out how to date individuals we don’t work with.”

So while sharing a screenplay isn’t a sign of true love, it could be time for a new one.
