Roc Nation and Time Studios will produce the Megan Thee Stallion documentary series
Megan Thee Stallion will be the subject of a documentary film!Time Studios and Roc Nation have partnered up to create a show about the singer.
Both firms made the announcements on Thursday, according to Variety. On Friday, Roc Nation made an announcement about the relationship.

News release: Desiree Perez, the CEO of Roc Nation, said, “Megan has quickly become one of the world’s best artists, and that’s thanks to her hard work, resilience, and professionalism.”
According to a press release, the series will “focus on how Megan overcomes significant personal challenges to prosper in her professional career.”
Time Studios’ Loren Hammonds emphasized his company’s enthusiasm to collaborate with Roc Nation “to share Megan’s story with the globe.”
“Millions of people know her as a performer, but this series will allow her to communicate her truth in a way she has never done before.”
“Her journey is inspiring, and the achievements she continues to make are incredible,” Loren remarked. “We are grateful to have been able to photograph her at this important point in her life and career, as her art and impact around the world continue to grow.”
Credits
Nneka Onuorah has been selected as the series’ director. Nneka’s credits include the HBO film “Legends of the Underground,” which was nominated for a GLAAD award for “Best Documentary.” She’s also the creator of the “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrl” competition series.
Desiree and Loren are listed as executive producers on the film. EPs Ian Orefice, Alexa Conway, and Mike Beck also represent Time Studios.Lori York has joined Roc Nation as an EP.
There are no other details regarding the project available at this time.
According to Variety, executives in charge of documentaries have yet to choose a network. There’s also no information on when the film will be released.
Megan and 1501 Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford have been exchanging accusations for days. Megan is signed to Carl’s label, despite the fact that she has been managed by Roc Nation since 2019.
