As the two watched The Masters, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted a sweet photo of his one-year-old daughter, Sterling.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have demonstrated that they are sports fans who are interested in more than simply football. Mahomes joined the MLS Sporting Kansas City ownership group last year, and the two have become a force in Kansas City sports ownership.
He is also a co-owner of the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball, and his wife, Brittany, is a co-owner of the Royals’ NWSL squad.
The newest member of the Mahomes family appears to be a sports lover as well, as she adores teeing off at the Masters. Patrick Mahomes announced that he and his one-year-old daughter Sterling were ready for the Masters this year by sharing three sweet images of them together.

Sterling’s adoring parents are training their baby daughter to enter the sports world with the same zeal as her athletic parents, despite the fact that she is only one year old. A green and white onesie with a tiny Masters logo is what Sterling is wearing. She also has a green Masters sippy cup and a big green ribbon to go with it.
Sterling’s outfit for the Masters is very cute, so it looks like the Masters has thought about how the current generation of golf fans would teach their kids to love the game.
Sterling isn’t the first person in her young life to be dressed in all the correct colors to watch a sporting event. Patrick and Brittany took their two-month-old baby to her first Royals game in April of last year.
Sterling’s grandfather, Pat Mahomes, spent a decade in Major League Baseball, and while he never played for the Royals, he certainly passed on his love of the game—and his patching skills—to his son, Patrick.
Before Patrick and Brittany can persuade Sterling to pursue athletics, she’s already gotten a head start by developing a passion for the game since birth.
