Listen, people are getting imaginative with their coin collection methods! With a pandemic and little willingness to work these days, scammers are going above and beyond, according to Kim K. T-Pain recently came across one such con artist who was utilizing his good name to make a quick buck and wished them luck. Someone has apparently been giving T-Pain song contracts for a small sum of $300.

“These lads out here are being CRAZY!! GAAAAAHHHDAAAAAMN! Please don’t be stupid if you get this email, “T-Pain stated in an Instagram caption.

And if you’ve already been duped, That isn’t me, you know. And Broski, who’s the one who’s sending that sh*t out… come on, son. Calm down, bro. “Hello, my name is T-Pain,” he says, “and I’m a head a*s cool bro.”

T-caption Pain’s alluded to an email screenshot that he also published. The phony offer starts with a simple “hi, my name is T-pain.” T-Pain “handles all business proposals and queries for NAPPY BOY ENTERTAINMENT as the EVP and head of A&R,” it says.

Following that, the email pays the reader a compliment by stating that “a&r reviewed all [their] music content” and that they have “potential” to advance in their career. To say the least, the offer isn’t alladat.

What’s the catch, anyway?

“The Nappy Boy Entertainment Label would like to present you with a marketing/distribution publication arrangement.” With our package, we provide additional services such as graphic design and professional materials. Working with a prestigious international label can help boost your total brand value, “the email stated.

After all of the things were nicely put out, our trusty con artist set up the small catch for this illustrious transaction with T-Pain.

“There is a $300 fee for this to happen, which will declare that the offer was unsolicited.” The fake email stated, “We are located in Tallahassee, Florida, and if you accept the deal, your deposit cost will be reimbursed.”
