The Kansas Jayhawks are the March Madness 2022 champions. When will the Kansas City national championship parade begin and where will it take place?
Throughout the season, Kansas made a point of playing for the 2020 team that missed out on the NCAA Tournament.
On Monday night, they did what they had to do and beat UNC to win the NCAA National Championship.
When prizes are awarded, parades are held. When will the Jayhawks begin their season-long celebration?
Official arrangements for Kansas’ championship parade have yet to be published. So come back later for the most up-to-date information.
Even so, we can make some educated guesses regarding the parade’s specifics.
It will most likely take place in Lawrence, close to the University of Kansas campus. When the Jayhawks won the championship in 2008, the parade started at 7th and Massachusetts and went south on Massachusetts to SouthPark, then back to 7th and Massachusetts again.
However, fans had to wait a long time for the parade. Kansas won the championship on Monday, but the procession wasn’t held until Sunday.
Celebrations, on the other hand, were thrown together more rapidly. On Tuesday, the Jayhawks held a party at Memorial Stadium to welcome back the victorious squad.
We don’t know if Kansas will celebrate in the same way, but they’re sure to do something big to remember the event.
It’s possible that the procession will take place as early as Wednesday or as late as Sunday.
