Ray Liotta’s fiancee, Jacy Nittolo, is relying on their children to help her deal with her feelings almost a month after the actor died too soon.
On June 23, the hairstylist posted a carousel of photos of herself with Ray on Instagram, along with an emotional post about how she’s coping with the unexpected loss.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been a month,” she wrote. “There are no words to adequately describe what it is like to suffer an unexpected loss.” Every second of every day, I miss him. “
Jacy added that being with her four children—Dax, Chazz, Jade, and Joey—and Ray’s daughter, Karsen, whom he shares with his ex-wife Michelle Grace, gives her a “hint of some light” every day.
“I find so much love and laughter through such deep pain,” she continued. Our lives are so fragile right now, but we’re all holding each other up. It’s as if we’re one big blended family, predestined beyond our wildest dreams. “
The Goodfellas actor, 67, and Jacy, 47, made their relationship public in early 2020. Ray announced their engagement on Instagram in December of that year, writing, “Christmas wishes are granted.” I proposed to the love of my life, and thank God she said yes!!! “
Ray died in his sleep on May 26 in the Dominican Republic while filming Dangerous Waters. Following his death, Jacy wrote a heartfelt eulogy about their “truly magical” time together.
She wrote on May 28: “He was everything in the world to me, and we couldn’t get enough of each other.”
