During the April 14 premiere of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the Talentless CEO shared his true feelings about ex-wife Kourtney Kardashian’s new relationship with longtime family friend Travis Barker—and his response might surprise you.
In an interview with Khloe Kardashian, Scott said that Kourtney’s relationship has helped him “move on.”
“I always had her friends or our family in my ear saying, ‘Don’t worry, honey, you’ll figure it out someday,'” he added. “‘You’ll get back together one day,’ she adds. As a result, my foot was usually halfway through the door.
In a confessional, Scott admitted that now that Kourtney is dating Travis, he’s lost her “as a close friend.” “Now we’re more like co-parents,” he explained. “It’s certainly one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done.”
Kourtney and Scott have three children: Mason, 12; Penelope, 9; and Reign, 7. Scott then revealed that he is aware that Kourtney is content and “in a real thing.”
Nonetheless, he is concerned about being forgotten by his family. “Feeling left out and not being informed of anything is extremely heartbreaking,”
Scott said of not being invited to a family BBQ, “especially since I don’t have another family to go to.” Scott’s mother, Bonnie, passed away in October 2013, and his father, Jeffrey, passed away in January 2014. He is the lone child in his family.
Khloe wondered if he could handle the PDA between Kourtney and Travis.
When Khloe brought up the conversation with Kourtney, the Poosh entrepreneur said that Scott’s words didn’t always represent his deeds. By this point, Scott had irritated Kourtney by sending a direct message about her new connection to her ex-boyfriend, Younes Bendjima.
When I woke up to a text from Scott saying, ‘I’m so sorry,’ when I was in Italy with Travis on our summer vacation, Kourtney revealed in a confessional. I sent a DM to your ex-boyfriend, who I despise. ‘ And he texted me a screenshot, saying [Younes] had shared it on his story. “
Despite Scott’s request to apologize to Travis, Kourtney was still unhappy with him, telling Khloe and Kim Kardashian, “I wrote to him, ‘This is horrible.’
According to Kourtney, Scott has gotten away with “poor behavior” and yet been accepted into the family. “I don’t think that’s going to continue,” she told the Kardashian camera.
Despite the fact that Kourtney has set new limits with her ex, Scott remains close to the Kardashian-Jenners. On April 7, the Flip It Like Disick actor joined Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner on the red carpet for the debut of the new show.
An eyewitness inside the event told E! News that Kim greeted Scott with a strong hug.
