Mama Joyce, Kandi Burruss’ mother, gets a buttlift in a sneak peek from ‘Kandi & The Gang’
In this exclusive teaser of “Kandi & The Gang,” Kandi Burruss brings her mother to get a buttlift to keep her “young and sassy.”
Kandi Burruss and her family’s antics continue on Kandi & The Gang, her new spinoff series. In HollywoodLife’s exclusive peek for the April 10 episode, Kandi brings her mother, Mama Joyce Jones, to get a buttlift.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells the doctor, “I was thinking we should keep her young and feisty and enable her to attempt the butt lift.” Mama Joyce, on the other hand, does not appear to be enthusiastic about the prospect of boosting her posterior.
Wait, what?” “Are you serious?” she inquires of Kandi, who affirms that she wants her mother to perform the treatment. The doctor adds that the buttlift is “nonsurgical” and then pulls out a pair of portion cups for Mama Joyce to utilize. “These cups are going to be over your cheeks.” It takes only thirty minutes. However, her cheeks must be exposed, she explains.
Mama Joyce and Kandi laugh at the prospect of the family matriarch’s bare buttocks being on display for the surgery. Mama Joyce admits she isn’t wearing a thong when the doctor offers her “disposable underwear.” Kandi laughs once more.
In a confessional, Mama Joyce tells Aunt Nora Wilcox and Aunt Bertha Jones, “If I can do something about it at my age, I’m doing it.”
Mama Joyce’s buttlift has finally arrived. Kandi can see what her mother is working on from behind her while she lays down on a surgical table on her tummy. “Pay attention, mama; the thighs are squeezing.” “Let me just say, these are not the thighs of a 72-year-old,” Kandi adds.

As the suction cups are inserted on each of Mama Joyce’s butt cheeks, Kandi continues to observe. Should I go ahead and ask for a raise right now? In the middle of the procedure, Mama Joyce asks Kandi, the proprietor of the Old Lady Gang eatery, an amusing question. Kandi says, with a giggle, “Your butt cheeks are receiving a raise right now.”
In their confessional scene, Aunt Nora and Aunt Bertha poke fun at Mama Joyce for the buttlift. Mama Joyce explains to her family that the suction will cause the flat section to come back out. According to the triplets, Mama Joyce is now a “grandma” with a “big ‘ol bubbly ass.”
Mama Joyce’s buttlift will have to be seen to be believed. Kandi & The Gang airs on Bravo every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
