In his new song, “Thank you God,” Jussie Smollett declares his innocence

Jussie Smollett Declares Innocence In New Song ‘thank You God’

Jussie Smollett is now a free man, but he isn’t giving up on anyone who doubted him during his trial! As we have reported, Jussie Smollett was found guilty of orchestrating a hate crime against himself and filing a fraudulent police report.

It doesn’t matter that Jussie Smollett was convicted. He’s still keeping his innocence up in his music, and will keep doing so.

He released a nearly six-minute R&B song called “Thank You God…” on Friday. In it, Smollett again told the story of the three-year-old attack, which was both homophobic and racially charged.

It’s as though they’re hell-bent on preventing the crime from being solved. Taking aside the factors of race, transphobia, and homophobia, it’s just killing people. Jussie raps in the song, “But turn around and act like I’m the one who murdered the strides.”

“I can’t be angry.” Remove my ego. Some folks are looking for a celebrity. Some folks are looking for a celebrity. Some people are vying for power. But just keep in mind that this isn’t that case. “Do you think I’m so stupid to ruin my reputation?”

“All I ever wanted to accomplish was make my folks proud,” he concluded. It’s not about the money; it’s about how you make others feel. I’m not a guy of steel, therefore celebrity is for the birds. “

The proceeds from the song will be donated to the Rainbow Push Coalition, STB Safety, and the Illinois Innocence Project, which is run by his family, according to Jussie.

Lawyers argue that Jussie Smollett’s trial was unlawful, and thus he was released on a $150,000 bond.
