Season 4 of “Stranger Things”: Everything We Know
Warm up some Eggos, because the Stranger Things season four trailer is now here.
The highly awaited first look at Stranger Things season four was published on Netflix on April 12th, and it did not disappoint.
According to the new footage, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), and the rest of the gang have been up to since the events of season three, according to the new footage.
And, despite the fact that we’ve had to wait three years for a glimpse of what’s to come, it doesn’t appear that we’ll be turned upside down when volume one of the new season comes on May 27. Why?
Because the trailer promises solutions to the questions surrounding Hopper’s kidnapping in Russia, Oh, and we’ll get to visit Joyce, Eleven, Will (Noah Schnapp), and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) in sunny California.
Fans of Hawkins, Indiana shouldn’t worry; there’s a fresh mystery to solve thanks to Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Steve (Joe Keery), and the rest of the party’s inquisitive brains.
So, what can we look forward to in Season 4? That’s what. A whole f—king lot.To begin with, Eleven is weak and attempting to lead a normal high school existence.
Yet, as Hawkins Laboratory executive Sam Owens (Paul Reiser) enters and warns the young wunderkind, “a battle is coming,” and her Hawkins buddies are right at the heart of it, that is unthinkable.
Steve, Robin (Maya Hawke), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Dustin, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Max (Sadie Sink) are all seen traveling into the upside-down via the mysterious Creel House, proving that he isn’t joking.
That’s not all; Max appears to have developed certain abilities of her own. In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, Max is seen levitating into the air over his stepbrother Billy (Dacre Montgomerygrave)’s.
There’s also a new major antagonist to deal with, who appears to be the evil mind at the center of the upside-down. A menacing voice says, “It’s time.” “You’ve been defeated.”
Creators Matt and Ross Duffer promised fans that the new episodes would solve their pressing issues ahead of the release of the season four trailer. During Deadline’s Contenders Television event on April 10, Ross said, “We really wanted to start providing the viewers some answers.”
Netflix is responsible for this video.
Of course, this isn’t wholly surprising news, given that the Duffer Brothers stated in February that the series would be renewed for a fifth season.
Season four would be released in two parts, followed by a fifth and final season.Within the universe of Stranger Things, there are still many more intriguing stories to tell; new mysteries, new adventures, and new surprising heroes.
