Draymond Green’s wife lashes out at Celtics supporters for using NSFW chants

NSFW chants aimed towards Warriors players by Celtics fans were called out by Draymond Green’s wife during Game 3 of the series. Was it really that far off the rails?

Hazel Renée Green, Green’s wife, was not pleased with the Celtics’ yelling of f-bombs at Warriors players during Game 3. While Boston fans are known for their irresponsibility, this is far from the worst we’ve seen from NBA fans this season.

In most sports, have fans gone too far in their return to the stands? Without a doubt, However, Boston sports fans booing the Celtics after a Game 3 loss feels like a deflection. If you’ll pardon the expression, it’s an excuse.

“It was a tough loss tonight, but fans should not be permitted to yell obscenities at players in any way!” Aren’t they human? Is there someone at your workplace saying strange things to you? … ” Hazel Renee penned the piece.

Draymond Green took no issue with Celtics fans

As for Draymond himself, he didn’t seem to care about the chants from Celtics fans. Klay Thompson and Steve Kerr brought the chants up in their respective press conferences, but Green instead had some odd amount of respect for it.

“I embrace it. I enjoy it,” Green said. “I didn’t really feed off of it tonight. I don’t think I fed off much tonight. But yeah, that’s something that I enjoy. Waste a lot of energy talking to me, so it’s great. It’s great. Looking forward to Friday.”

Instead, Green was focused on his own performance. Draymond nearly had more fouls than points. He realized he needs to play better for the Warriors to win this series.

C’s fans are merely a footnote in the series so far, but it wouldn’t be an NBA Finals series in 2022 without a social media feud.
