Halle Bailey has a plethora of gadgets and clapbacks.
On April 13, the 22-year-old actress, who plays Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, didn’t hold back when it came to plastic surgery accusations.
Halle tweeted, accompanied by laughing and crying emojis.
“No, ma’am,” she said, before describing how she and her older sister, Chloe Bailey, had been blessed in different ways. “God gave them to me, and Chloe got the booty.”
Halle’s honest remark comes just weeks after she and Chloe, 23, attended the 2022 Academy Awards together.
This is what Halle wore to the party: a pale turquoise Roberto Cavalli gown with a high slit. Her sibling wore an equally beautiful outfit with the same high slit, too.
The Chloe x Halle combo recently spoke with E! News about how they lean on each other in times of doubt, with Halle noting that having Chloe assist her deal with the “imposter syndrome” she sometimes suffers at work is “so strong and so special.”
“Every day, simply by being herself and seeing how hard she works, my sister encourages me,” she said. “I think I’ve always set a good example for her as far as what I wanted to be and what kind of impact I wanted to make on people.”
“Anytime I’m feeling down, or like I’m doubting myself, Halle is the first one to pull me out of it,” the “Have Mercy” singer revealed.
